The Tokai-to-Kamioka- (T2K) experiment studies the oscillations of neutrinos produced at the J-PARC facility in Tokai, in Japan and then recorded 295 km away in the Super-Kamiokande detector. In the exercise, the student will become familiar with the topic of accelerator neutrinos their production and how we detect them. He/she will learn the methods of selection of different classes of neutrino interactions. Knowledge of C++/Python programming is required.
